With over 20 years in the human services field and more than a decade as a mental health therapist, Laura has had the privilege of supporting individuals and families through a wide range of emotional and relational challenges. While she has worked with clients across the lifespan, a central focus of her clinical work has been helping adolescents, young adults, and couples navigate the unique pressures, transitions, and relationship dynamics that shape these stages of life.
A significant portion of her early career was devoted to adolescents and their families, giving her deep insight into the emotional, social, and developmental challenges teens face. Over time, her practice expanded to include young adults finding their identity, stability, and direction, as well as couples seeking healthier communication, reconnection, and strengthened partnership. These remain the areas where Laura's passion and expertise align most strongly.
Laura specializes in supporting clients who feel anxious, emotionally overloaded, or stuck in familiar patterns as they move toward confidence, clarity, insight, and meaningful change. Her clinical focus includes:
She integrates solution-focused therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy–based strategies, and systems-informed thinking to help clients understand what’s driving their distress, interrupt unhelpful patterns, and build coping skills that genuinely fit their life. Her approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded. Laura meets clients where they are, honors their story, and helps them move toward growth that is sustainable and meaningful.
